This training, on March 10 from 9am - 1pm, is for all KidZone volunteers and includes breakfast, worship, message, two customized break-out sessions, games, and prizes!

On your registration, please select one breakout for session one, and one breakout for session two.

Awana Puggle & Cubbies Training

Participants will review Puggles and Cubbies programs and the roles as leaders in each of these programs. During this time we will have a time of Q&A so come with questions!

This session will be led by Gina Hirayama & Becky Greer and is limited to the first 25 registrants.

 

Preschool Teacher Basic Training (Repeat from 2017)

Participants will gain basic information on working in a preschool classroom during Sunday morning sessions and the Wednesday night session. Bring any questions you have with you!

Check-In Attendant Training

Learn the step-by-step process for a quick and efficient check in for regular and first-time attenders from Nursery through 5th Grade.  Make a great first impression as a Crossway KidZone Check-in Attendant.

This session will be led by Kathy Hardt and is limited to the first 25 registrants.

 

Dynamic Presentation

This breakout will help learners be more versed in presenting lessons to children that will not be easily forgotten. Also, learners will come away with tools and strategies to help them be an amazing culture shaping teacher!

This session will be led by Paula Turley and is limited to the first 30 registrants.

 
 
 

Guiding Difficult Conversations In A Spirit Filled Way

This breakout promise to equip the leader with conversations with children, parents, and other leaders.  All too often we fail to prepare our hearts when getting ready to address unwanted behavior with children.  Also, help with talking with parents about behavior, and strategies to have good conversation with other leaders.

This session will be led by Josh Zuniga and is limited to the first 30 registrants.

 

Managing Preschoolers

Effective preschool management skills and strategies that will help make your time in the classroom more smooth and enjoyable.

This session will be led by Bethany Benton and is limited to the first 25 registrants.

 
 
 

Nurturing Babies

Participants will examine the significance of their role in nurturing the faith of little ones and their parents.

This session will be led by Carla MacLachlan and is limited to the first 25 registrants.

 

Lesson Preparedness

This breakout session promises to help kidzone leaders to be more prepared in leading children to Jesus.  During this session you will learn how to balance your schedule, gather materials to create an unforgettable experience, and determine the right tools to use to present your dynamic lesson.  Also, learners will walk away with tools and strategies to help in preparing for lessons.

This session will be led by Deb Laws and is limited to the first 30 registrants.

 
 
 

Sowing Seeds Of Faith In Preschoolers

Participants will develop an understanding of spiritual development in preschoolers and learn how to best fulfill their crucial role in that development.

This session will be led by Shelly Wallin and is limited to the first 25 registrants.

 

"The City" Training

A brief overview of the City and tips to navigate City features.  Will also include a time of Q&A for users.

This session will be led by Deanna Crawford and is limited to the first 25 registrants.
