GriefShare

GriefShare is a weekly video seminar featuring some of the nation's foremost experts on grief recovery topics. The seminar features nationally recognized experts on grief recovery topics. Seminar sessions include, "Is This Normal?," "The Challenges of Grief" and "Guilt and Anger" to name a few.

The fall semester begins August 24 at 6:30pm in the Pastor's Reception room. Registration is $20 per person for course materials.

Mocha Ministry

Mocha (Mothers of Crossway Helping One Another) is a ministry designed to help moms of all ages and stages connect with each other. We do this by providing the opportunity for support, encouragement and fellowship through Christ centered discussion and interactions. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday morning of each month during the school year from 9:30 until 11:30.

The annual registration cost is $30 which includes childcare and all needed resources and materials. Our first meeting will be September 5th. The deadline to register is September 3.

Encourag(Her): Retreat To The Word

Join us September 29-30 for a weekend retreat where we will dive into God’s Word and learn practical steps for personal daily Bible study. You and your girlfriends can enjoy a cabin and time away to refresh and renew at Stonebridge Resort in Branson.

The cost is $70 per person. Each room includes a queen/king size bed with private bathroom. Cost is based on 2 people per room.  Breakfast options in each cabin.

The registration deadline is Sunday, August 27. Due to resort reservations this is a firm deadline.

KidZone Open House + Awana Kickoff

Help us kick-off Promotion Sunday and the start of Awana with a KidZone Open House on Sunday, August 13. Families with preschoolers and children grades K-5 will have the opportunity to visit classrooms, meet Bible Fellowship and Awana teachers, register for Awana clubs and pick up necessary materials.

This is a come and go event beginning at 6pm. Make sure you stop by the KidZone Gym to enjoy a hotdog dinner before or after you visit your child's room.

Yearly dues are $10 per child. (Scholarships are available upon request).

Join us for a day at Treasure Lake in Branson, MO! Our high school students will be able to hangout and enjoy a day in the sun before school begins. Transportation/admission is free.

Important Details:
- Students who wish to fish (catch and release) must bring $5 for a fishing licensing with Treasure Lake. 
- ID is required to rent golf clubs, shuffle board equipment, basketballs or tennis.
- Students will have access to indoor/outdoor pool, basketball, sand volleyball, tennis, shuffle board, fishing and putt-putt. Students are also welcome to bring quarters for the mini arcade.

High School Mission Trip

All high school students are welcome to join us for this year's mission trip, "The Convergence" hosted at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.

Students will have the opportunity to work, serve and share the gospel with people in the Louisville community. Our prayer is this trip will help embolden our students to confidentially share the gospel in their everyday lives and grow in a closer relationship with God.

The cost of the trip is $200 per student. We do require a deposit and notarized medical release form in order to secure your student's place on this trip (Need help notarizing? Contact Us)

Important Details:
$50 Deposit & Notiarized Medical Release Forms Due Sunday, June 4.
$75 Due By Sunday, June 18.
$75 Due By Sunday, July 9.

Mission in the City

Mission in the City

Mission in the City is an opportunity for middle school students (6-8 Grade) to serve the community of Springfield through service projects and gospel-outreach opportunities. We divide our students into adult led teams to work in different areas and projects throughout the week. As the time for the event gets closer, we will let you know where your student will be serving.

The week will conclude with a celebration on Friday at Incredible Pizza (please know, only students who participate in the entire week qualify for the Incredible Pizza celebration).

We are excited for how God is going to use our students to make an impact on our community! We are still working on finalizing all of the projects for the Mission in the City week. For updates, you can stay connected on the Middle School Parent Page on The City.

Parents' Night Out

Parents' Night Out is an opportunity for you and your spouse to enjoy a well deserved date night. On February 10th from 6:00 - 9:00 pm we will be providing childcare for children age birth - 5th grade and includes dinner for your kids along with games and crafts. There will also be an Open Gym offered for parents with middle school students from 6:00 - 9:00 pm, at no additional cost. Please include their names on the registration form so that we can plan accordingly. 

The cost is $10 per child ($5 for each additional child) and the deadline to register is January 29th.
