Serve Springfield is a mission project focused on making a tangible impact on the city of Springfield through partnering with local organizations to serve the community. We come alongside organizations and churches already making a difference in the community and with our large number of students and volunteers that week we accomplish large projects the organizations need help with.
This event is available for students who have completed 6th grade - completed 12th grade (18-19 School Year)
This year the High School ministry gets the opportunity to partner with Pastor Jesse Webster and Sugar Camp Baptist Church as they replant in the heart of Mt. Vernon, IL. Our students will help Sugar Camp reach the area through VBS style backyard Bible clubs, prayer walking, gospel distribution. We hope to finish up the week with a block party. We will also participate in evening worship services of preaching, prayer, and praise.
We are returning to KC for READY19 as well as a concert featuring nobigdyl at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. The cost is $60/student and includes the conference, transportation, lunch on Saturday and lodging. Meal money is needed for students for dinner on Friday night and a pit stop break on our return trip home ($15-20 is recommended). There will also be resources and items available for sale at the conference.
Our High School Ministry will be serving at Freeway Ministries on Saturday, Jan. 12. We will be helping serve food, with childcare, the youth study, and participating in worship. This project runs from 4:30-7:30pm.
Transportation is not provided for this event. Students can be dropped off and picked up at Freeway (739 West Talmage).
SNAC Night is an opportunity for high school students to come together for food, fun and games. There is no cost to attend and students are encouraged to bring a friend with them!
Students will make their way to the Student Center Gym following the evening service. Parents can expect this event to end at 9pm.
Online registration for this event is closed. You can still sign up at the door on Saturday.
Join up with your tribe for a night of fun and war! Crossway Baptist Church is hosting a back to school night class-clash and color war! This event will test your team spirit, the strength and ability of your grade and will help you flourish some new friendships!
The event will also include food, fun, giveaways, and ends with a powder war of epic proportions!
Please remember the appropriate materials (towels, trash bag, etc.) to clean yourself up as you leave the premises that evening.
Find your class color below and wear it that night! Prizes will go to one member of each class decked out the most-est, best-est!

Join us for a day at Treasure Lake in Branson, MO. Our high school students will be able to hangout and enjoy a day in the sun before school begins. Transportation/admission is free but students/friends need to sign up by Wednesday, August 8.
• Students need $10 - $20 for lunch and snacks.
• Students are welcome to bring fishing poles and supplies for fishing.
• ID is required to rent shuffleboard equipment, basketballs, tennis, etc.
• Students will have access to an indoor/outdoor pool, basketball, sand volleyball, tennis, shuffleboard, fishing, and putt-putt.
• Students are also welcome to bring quarters for the mini arcade.
• No leggings.
• No spaghetti straps.
• Sleeveless shirts/tank tops must be 3 finger length
• No cut-out shirts allowed
• All shorts must meet fingertip length.• Ladies should wear swimsuits (one or two-piece) along with a dark colored t-shirt and shorts at the appropriate finger-tip length for water activities.
• Guys should wear a swimsuit with a cover-up (t-shirt, tank-top).
Bring One Friend To One Night
Come together with students (middle school - high school) from across our community for One Night. The event is free and will include food, games, worship and testimonies.
Parents are welcome to join us at 7:30pm.
In the Old Testament, cities of refuge were setup for God’s people to seek and find shelter. In our world today, where are our students turning for Refuge? Our high school retreat will take place Friday/Saturday of spring break, March 16-17. The cost is $25 and includes food, lodging and an extreme adventure lows ropes course/team building challenges at School to the Nations in Ozark.
Students should arrive at the church at 6:30pm on Friday night and can be picked up at 2:30pm on Saturday afternoon.
The deadline to register is Wednesday, March 14.
