Local Outreach

Local missions is an important part of our ministry here at Crossway. As we serve our community, there are opportunities for people of all ages to get involved. You can help be a part of seeing lives changed by the message of the gospel, right here in Springfield.

Grow Outreach

This ministry offers the opportunity to meet people who have visited our church and follow up with them about getting connected at Crossway. Often times, people have the chance to share the gospel and pray with people who may be struggling or hurting.

Grow Outreach meets each Tuesday at 6:00pm in the KidZone Gym. Dinner is provided (donations can be given) and visits are made at 6:35pm.

Freeway Ministries

Freeway Ministries is an organization committed to living out the Gospel and fulfilling the Great Commission found in Matthew 28. They are committed to using Biblical truths and believe through the reasoning of scriptures, people can and will be set free from any and every addiction; all while glorifying Jesus Christ.

"A church for the unchurched," Freeway is a drug and alcohol recovery ministry, supported by Crossway Baptist Church.

Life Builders Ministry

Our church partners with this ministry to volunteer in a low-income apartment complex. Serving at John B. Hughes Apartments each Tuesday nigh provides both children and adults with the opportunity to hear the Gospel and show them what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ.

If you would like to get involved in this ministry or would like to know more, you can contact our Missions Pastor, Paul Sheaffer.

Crossway Cares

Crossway Cares is a three day mission outreach to our community. The goal is to minister to needs within the city of Springfield and surrounding areas so that others may see, hear, and come to know the love and hope that we have in Christ.

Our Crossway Cares event takes place over different locations across Springfield. In April of 2017, we have over 40 different service projects and countless volunteers who helped make an impact on our community.
