Paul came to Crossway in 2009 after serving as an International Mission Board missionary in Uruguay, South America. Prior to his time with the IMB he served as a senior pastor in Kingsport, TN for fourteen years.

He met his wife Pam at the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL and they were married shortly after graduation in 1980. They have three grown children; one serving in Spain, one serving as a youth pastor in Oregon, and their daughter serving in the High School ministry at Crossway Baptist Church.

Paul uses his gifts to guide the discipleship ministry at Crossway and gives special emphasis to Bible Fellowship as an essential element of the church. He also oversees the outreach ministries of Crossway as we seek to win Springfield to Christ. In the area of missions, Paul directs our missions budget, missions partnerships and organizes our international volunteer trips around the world.

In his free time, Paul enjoys spending time with his family, vacationing at the beach and playing golf. When he has the opportunity, you will find him cheering on the Tennessee Vols in football.
