Russ joined our staff as Minister of Discipleship in April of 2019.  He is a native of Kentucky and a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Previously he pastored at three churches in Kentucky and Missouri for 27 years. 

 Russ married his wife, Teresa, in January, 1983.  They have one daughter, Cori, who is married to Michael Farrar.  They have been blessed with four grand boys: Andrew, Seth, Decker, and Reed.  Russ (Papaw) and Teresa (Granny) are thankful to serve the Lord with them at Crossway.

 As the Minister of Discipleship, Russ is passionate about seeing those who KNOW Christ as Savior GROW in their faith so they might GO share the gospel with the world.  

Russ enjoys running, yard work, college sports, and spending time with his family, especially his grand boys.
