FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Who will be eligible to attend? We will start in August 2024 with grades Kindergarten - 3rd. We plan to add 4th grade in August 2025, 5th in 2026 and so on.
Do you have to be a member of Crossway to enroll? We will open enrollment to Crossway members first and then if space remains we will open to families in the community. We will be a covenantal model school, meaning families will be required to sign an agreement with our statement of faith.
What will the tuition be? TBD.
How many classes will be available at each grade level? We are planning for 2 at each grade level and will adjust, based on enrollment.
What days will students attend? We will have a 4 day school week, Monday through Thursday.
Will the school be accredited? Yes, we will pursue accreditation with ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) which is generally a 2-4 year process to achieve full accreditation.
What curriculum will be used? Our Bible Curriculum will be the Building on the Rock series by Summit Ministries which takes students beyond just reading Bible stories and equips them with a framework for living Biblically in every area of life as well as teaching them how to defend their faith. For every other subject area, we will utilize BJU Press curriculum which provides educational materials written from a Biblical worldview that focus on academic rigor and encourages critical thinking.
Where will the school be located? The Academy will share space in our new Children's Ministry wing at Crossway Baptist Church.
Will students be required to wear uniforms? Yes
