Jacob Lasher

Jacob joined our staff as the Worship Associate in July of 2023. He’s been a member at Crossway since middle school, where he slowly started serving on worship teams wherever he could. While singing on our praise team and playing guitar in our worship band, Jacob attended Southwest Baptist University before transferring to, and later graduating from Spurgeon College. He’s continued to serve in those roles since then.

Jacob previously spent time on staff here as the Student Ministry Associate, before leaving for the mission field with his amazing wife Morgan, whom he married in January of 2021. After some time the Lord brought them back to Springfield where they had their son Lincoln, and later on their daughter Caroline.

In his free time, Jacob loves listening to and playing music, playing sports, spending time with his family, and relaxing with a good video game or movie.

Jacob is passionate about worship, reaching the lost with the good news of Christ, and helping people better understand how to utilize their spiritual gifts to bless the Lord and others.
