Michael joined our staff as the Minister of Young Single Adults in July of 2021 after serving as a student minister in Topeka, Kansas. Michael grew up in a ministry home where he developed a heart and desire for pastoral ministry. After being called to vocational ministry in his junior year of college in 2016, Michael then proceeded to receive training at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  

After moving to Springfield, Michael met the love of his life, Bethany, and the two of them enjoy loving and serving the Lord together in the life God has given them.

Michael enjoys movies, eating his wife's wonderful cooking, health and fitness, playing (not watching) sports, hunting, and spending time with friends and family
